Choosing Your DualMount Helmet Base:
A. Narrow Base: Optimized for snug side-by-side use of two GoPro 9-13*, eliminating the gap between the two housings for a sleek, snag-resistant profile. This Narrow DualMount width is compatible with any combination of the following cameras/LoProMoFos:
• GoPro Hero 5-7, 8, 9-13
• GoPro Max (Cage or Sleeve)
• Insta360 X2/X3/X4
• DJI Osmo Action 1, 4/5
Note: Cameras with wider form factors (e.g., Insta360 One R/RS, AcePro 1/2) cannot be mounted side by side on the Narrow Base… but they will on the…
B. Wide Base: 3.6mm wider than the Narrow Base, allowing all currently supported camera models to fit side by side in any combination, albeit with a larger gap between housings with certain combinations of cameras.*
 
Mounting Options: 
• 3M VHB Tape: The default, no-drill method for a secure, reliable hold.
• Cookie G35 Utility Plate: Mount directly to the Utility Plate for seamless integration with Cookie’s CutAway feature.
• Hardware Mounting: For those who prefer a drilled setup, mounting hardware is included.
 
Completing Your Helmet Set Up:
In addition to the RapidRelease DualMount Helmet Base, you will need the corresponding RapidRelease LoProMoFo (camera housing equiped with the RapidRelease CAMERA Base...this option is available from the 'helmet / mounting surface' dropdown menu) for each camera you plan on using with the DualMount Helmet Base. If you do not fully understand what this means, please refer to the labeled pictures in our single RapidRelease Helmet Base product listing (in order to understand the different compoenents), and then refer to our FAQ Page, #27 for detailed instructions
 
* The Narrow Base was developed knowing that dual GoPro 9-13 setups would be the most popular. In order to stay true to our mission of providing snag-free mounting options, this version eliminates the gap between two side-by-side GoPro 9-13 housings only. That means other camera combinations may still have gaps between the two camera housings This version also reduces universal camera model compatibility (see above for the complete list of compatible models). If you're unsure which version you need, want to maintain the highest level of camera mounting possibilities, and/or don't mind a gap between the two cameras, then choose the WIDE version.
 
PLEASE NOTE: This system is NOT a camera emergency/cut-away system (unless you're choosing the G35's Utility Plate Option), but rather an ultra-convenient way to place, remove, and/or swap cameras from your helmet in less than 2 seconds.
