Alright, here it is!!! A snag-free camera mounting solution for the Insta360 X4, X3, and X2 360º cams! The flexible camera housing provides a super snug, protective glove/cage around your camera, while still allowing FULL ACCESS to ALL buttons, the gigantic LCD screen, and status indicator lights...all without needing to screw/unscrew you X4 into the mount or onto your helmet!
 
As with all of  the other LoProMoFo housings, nothing extra is needed to keep your camera securely inside the mount. That means NO bands, bungees, screws, straps, or prayers needed, thanks to the tight tolerances and precise grip of the mount around the camera...with NO part of the housing showing up in your camera's 360º stitching except where it makes contact with your helmet. The LoProMoFo's base follows the EXACT contour of your helmet's curves for maximum adhesion via VBH tape (or hardware, if you so choose), becoming one unit with your helmet, without the need to drill any holes. 
 
Of course, the camera housing can also be completely removed from helmet / base for travel or hitting the wind tunnel by removing the two screws at base with the included hex key...leaving a snag-free base that's ready to fly without worries.
 
Camera angle / tilt adjustment can easily be achieved by slightly loosening the recessed stainless steel screws at the base with Allen key that is included, and then re-tightening screws so that they are once again snug-tight.
 
For those who want to be able to swap between different cameras on the same helmet, or want to completely do away with the need to screw/unscrew the housing from the base for travel / tunnel flying, you may want to check out the RapidRelease Helmet Base, noting all of the labeled components.  Select RapidRelease CAMERA Base from the Helmet / Mounting Surface drop-down menu for THIS product (so that your LoProMoFo Camera housing comes with the necessary RapidRelease CAMERA Base to make the whole system work), and also purchase the corresponding RapidRelease Helmet Base for your specific helmet.
